Thanks Viktor. The matte one is probably the one to use. I was messing around with editing trying to sharpen the image up and stumbled across an interesting transformation. It'll work as my avatar for now. _______________ Sentinel - Warforged Shielding Swordmage (Eberron) Allena Walmond - Human Paladin of Amaunator (Forgotten Realms) Variel - Elf Beastmaster Ranger Thaelan the Clanless - Dwarf Protector Spirit Shaman (Dungeon Delve 4)

I think I figured it out. Kruthiks have tremorsense, which can detect even invisible creatures as long as they are touching the ground. I suppose the red dolgrim can now see Lan too since it turned around to move out the tower and Lan was hit. So, with tremorsense, would the kruthiks be able to "negate" Kurvilis' invisibility from Fade Away and make some opportunity attacks against him as he moves away? _______________ Ravenblade - Dwarf Two-Weapon Ranger, Hammer of Moradin (Scales of War) « Last edit by Viktor on Sat Feb 20, 2010 12:29 am. »

That's a good point...I am not sure, but it says that they perceive creatures in contact with the ground as if they have line of sight, so that implies they CAN see invisible creatures. _______________ Mal Geminous - Tiefling Warlord, Scales of War Corydimbiddle - Gnome Artificer, Points of Light

I would say since they have tremorsense, they can OA Kurvilis. Since the gnome wizard is a level 1 PC, he may not know that they have tremorsense and thought himself safe being invisible. So, you could roll those two attacks (if Gary doesn't point out how wrong we are , but please keep in mind that Kurvilis has +4 all defenses agains OA from Lan's Mantle of Clarity effect. EDIT: You could always roll the OA's versus Kurvilis effective AC of 18 (or whatever defense +4). If neither hits, then it's a moot point this time around. _______________ Ravenblade - Dwarf Two-Weapon Ranger, Hammer of Moradin (Scales of War) « Last edit by Viktor on Sat Feb 20, 2010 1:01 am. »

BTW, I just realized that Energizeing Strike gives temp HP "half your level plus CHA modifier". Lan's CHA mod is 4, but his level is 1. Maybe that means Khav and Kurv should only have received 4 temp hp, since half of 1 rounded down is zero. _______________ Ravenblade - Dwarf Two-Weapon Ranger, Hammer of Moradin (Scales of War)

Looks good. Are you using Hide Armor or Leather Armor? Do you know if you are taking an alignment or if you are interested in a deity? I'll get you some information more info about Eberron related to your character so we can nail down a background and how to integrate you into the group. _______________ Mal Geminous - Tiefling Warlord, Scales of War Corydimbiddle - Gnome Artificer, Points of Light

He has an extra suit of armor packed in his pack, which is the leather armor. For spots where he doesn't want the more restrictive armor, he'll switch to it.
As for a deity, I chose one, but am open to something of your world. Remember, though, he is from a feyspire, so take prayer time to a god not of this world.
Geen is good aligned.

Scott, we will get you started this week. Do you have any last minute changes to your character? Also, I didn't realize that you had answered the question about a deity. As you are from a feyspire, I think it is fine to worship something other than the standard gods (such as how some worship the primal spirits). Here are some other options, though:
The Sovereign Host is a group of 9 gods, that represent civilization and good, and often worshipped as a group. The two specific ones that you might be interested in are Arawai, goddess of fertility, abundance, and life (particularly plant life), who is largely about the importance of wilderness to civilization; Blainor, god of beasts, the hunt, and the cycle of life, who teaches that people should only take what is needed from the wild. Arawai is commonly represented as a half-elf female (sometimes human or halfling) and a bronze dragon, while Balinor is represented by a crude and good-natured human or half-orc and a green dragon. Both have rangers and druids as followers. Arawai is good, Balinor is unaligned.
The other main option is one of the Dark Six, 6 gods that make up the "evil" counterpart to the Sovereign Host. This does not mean they are necessarily evil, though, they are more anti-civilization, and in fact some groups switch some of the Dark Six and Sovereign Host depending on the exact emphasis of the religion. The Devourer, god of the sea and destructive power of nature, is probably the only one that comes close, though. He is chaotic evil and my guess is that won't work out.
If those don't work, then you can just pick a suitable god and we will say that it is one of the plane you are from. _______________ Mal Geminous - Tiefling Warlord, Scales of War Corydimbiddle - Gnome Artificer, Points of Light

Tbh, Geen would worship a god from his homeworld. Since he'll likely be stuck here for a long time, perhaps he'll have a change of faith, but not anytime soon. Use the god as I have listed.
Send me a link to our play thread when it is ready.
