While the party waits, giving up their intitiative in favor of a concerted effort, the first zombies begin to shamble forward. The furthest one south merely moves closer as much as possible, while the one to the west approaches and then charges at Demuriath, slamming into the assassin for 9 damage.

The clay shambler, yes you guessed it, shambles forward to stand behind a different rotter. Looking over the undead's shoulder, the things three beady eye holes focus on Azad who feel her mind being touched by a clammy presence. The paladin frowns and feels distraught by the sensation, taking 9 psychic damage and becoming dazed (save ends).

OOC: The zombies attacked before the clay shambler, so Azad or any others who have any way of reacting to blue zombie's attack can do so. Otherwise, Cory is up next. After him, feel free to go out of order if you'd like. We should try to finish this encounter quickly in case we meet on the 12th for the finale.

With a practiced flick of his wrist, Corydimbiddle aims at the precise center of the zombie's forehead, knowing from experience and reading that this is the spot to aim for. Upon impact, the creature literally falls to pieces, never to move again. All four of Corydimbiddle's companions open their eyes in surprise, feeling inspired to similar feats of precision battle (MW bonus to all!).

OOC: Keep on critting and this will be a fast battle. The rest can go out of order. Show those undead who's boss of this Keep!!!!

Though dazed, Azad manages to charge and hit a zombie (red zombie is now bloodied). The effort places her at her energy limits (1d20=2 failed vs dazed).

OOC: I added 6 more to red zombie's damage from Edeya's attack, since her five storms actually hit both enemies and the flurry is applied to red. I didn't have my files with me when I posted the last update.

Gary, you forgot the MW bonus, so your damage is actually 14. You also forgot to save vs dazed. Being dazed, I converted Azad's attack into an ardent strike charge. Post a re-do if you don't want this.

Demuriath easily dispatches another rotter into eternal rest. All of the zombies, the ghastly being, and the clay shambler move to reposition, some taking easily dodged swipes with their claws or other failed attacks. Most of the attacks are targeted at Azad, whose armor protects her well.

The clay shambler makes a burping noise at seeing this and turns around, looking ready to sprint down the stairs towards the doors.

Laughing at the demise of another zombie, Demuriath disregards the foe in front of him, places another shroud on the clay thing, walks calmly over to it and hacks through it... twice.

Free: Dark Reaping when rotter dies
Free: Shroud on clay thing
Move: Walk to R9, provoking OA from yellow
Standard: Nightshade's Kiss vs clay thing, invoking shrouds 1d20+10+1+1=30, 2d12+7+3+3d6+1d8+4=43 Hits REF 30 for 43 damage (5 necrotic), and sliding clay thing to Q8. Whenever Demuriath hits it UENT, he can slide it 2 squares as a free action. Also, Demuriath gets 4 temp HP for hitting an unbloodied target (5 if he killed it instead)

Demuriath gathers the darkness of death around him and steps away, ignoring the rotter claw that misses him. Tendrils of darkness leading the way, falling on the clay creature, he reaches the top of the stairs. The shambler's three eyes seem to bore into Demuriath's mind just as Retribution swings downward. Time seems to freeze as Demuriath tries to repel the clammy sensation in his mind (1d20+4=13 vs WILL). A split-second later the nearby rotter is neatly cleaved in two.

Demuriath blinks once, as if to indicate his surprise, before the whirling shadows following his blade's second swing dig deeply into clay flesh, gouging out a goodly portion.

OOC: To clarify, Demuriath's nightshade kiss is turned aside onto orange rotter (it was close as you see) thus killing it, Demuriath's action point shadow storm hits even without CA and inflicts only 19 damage as only Dem is adjacent at this point. No extra temp hp, since Demuriath already has 5 from an earlier kill. Edit: Updated to include 8 shroud damage on clay shambler.
