OOC: I'm guessing you mis-typed, but just to make sure, the Intellect Fortress immediate boosted Embris' fortitude by +4 for himself only, not Elinar's. Also, it lasts until the end of Embris' next turn, so please show it in the intiative listing (in case there are enemies suddenly appearing or attacking from invisibility).

Betty takes a step back to D17 as she draws her bow and takes aim at their worthy foe- she uses all of her strength to unleash her arrows to try and pierce through the zombies thick defenses. "Take that!" she whispers as the arrows find their target, her obvious anger and annoyance showing through her normally calm demeanor.

Betty moves away from her quarry, then fires quickly. As she sees that her first arrow is about to miss wide, she launches again, this time true. EA (1d20+13=23) Her third arrow follows her second, and hits squarely. The zombie roars, but you are unable to tell if it is truly in pain, or simply annoyed.

Elinar stands up, "That was not nice. You have just earned more stabbing! Hee hee hee!" Elinar then moves towards the zombie and before it can lash out at him, he reappears directly behind it and stabs what passes for decaying kidneys. Elinar then looks around to see what attacked them.

As Johan and Elinar both sink blades into dead flesh, the zombie again roars, but this time in pain, as pus starts to spill out of the wounds. It flails its arms around, one swinging at each of the fighter and the rogue. Elinar easily ducks under, but Johan, perhaps slowed in his armor, takes the brunt of the large limb (22 damage and falling prone). Elinar thinks he can make out something in the back of the room (in the A1-3 area), but he is not sure if it is a creature or just a shadow.

Embris hurts the zombie again, which roars in pain, and looks fairly ready to fall. However, another blast of energy from the mystery assailant heals it a bit, and envelops most of the party. Zhadr and Srivath are able to resist, but Johan takes 17 damage, and Betty takes it full on for 24.

Srivath moves towards the giant zombie and tries to end the creature's threat once and for all, while spurring Johan on to continue the fight.

Move action - Move to D14.

Standard action - Energizing Strike (2 power points) against Zombie.

ES (2 PP, CA, 24H) (1d20+12+2+1=18, 2d10+6=15)

Hits AC 18 (don't forget he has -4 to AC right now, so this is sorta vs 22) for 15 damage, and on a hit, Johan can spend a surge and gain an extra 1 HP.

If that missed, I'll use an Ardent Surge on Johan to heal him a surge + 1d6 +1 HP and +1 to all defenses until the end of my next turn.

All of you are startled for a moment, when you hear Embris speak words out loud to you for the first time since you've met him. "Now that the brute is finished, you should all move into the chamber proper and try to spy the invisible spellcaster. Perhaps he is hiding underneath some of those old skeletons!" he finishes with a very strange sense of humor.

OOC: The spellcaster, or was it necromancer, is either invisible or hiding behind or underneath something. Anyone can make a perception roll as a minor action during their turn to try and localize him. Either way, he's in there somewhere, so time to move in.
