Curator 143-Theta rests and runs a self-diagnostic.

Use 1 surge to get to 33/44 HP and 1/9 surges. I'm also down an infusion if someone else can donate a surge. If someone can donate another past that, I can heal to full as well.

"Ahhh, yes, yes. Of course." answers Alfred uncertainly at Curator's "thanks". "Now how in the blazes will we get back in here. I don't relish the idea of spending a night in these outdoors."

OOC: Anyone have thievery? Do we have a key we forgot about? Should we climb the wall or walk back around the edifice? Also, sounds like Mike implied we could have an extended rest to bring our surges back up to full.

Calling to his air elemental in primordial, Alfred bends down towards the keyhole of the door they came through. Biting his tongue in child-like concentration, he conjures a magical hand and directs it to fiddle with the locking mechanism. Between the mage hand and the air elemental, Alfred feels he might just crack this door.

Alfred's hack of the door mechanism initially seems to fail, but at the last moment, he hears a click, and the door opens. The group is free to go back inside the tower.

Did you guys miss my "[cough]" above?

"Well, uhm, that's a surprise." says Alfred, startled that he actually managed to unlock the door.

OOC: When I clicked on your "cough" it linked me to Laz's multiple thievery attempts. I thought you were trying to say that Laz can just bombard the door with thievery rolls until it opens. Looking again, I now also see the key we found. Are you saying it was to open this door or does it also work for other doors? I completely forgot we found that. Who picked it up? Maybe just narrating that we use the key we found might be easier in future. In any case, I really don't have a good overview of our directional options. Can you please guide us to somewhere we haven't been yet. Does anyone else have a better suggestion?
