Josh more or less remembers correctly. For any of you who want to re-read about your interaction with Brugg at the Halfmoon Inn you can read posts 107 through 118 in the Thunderspire Labyrinth thread.

I don't see how we can fight in this state. We're pretty well beat up.

I am not sure what to do here. I don't want to throw the first punch, but delaying means hoody and dragonchick get to go. Thoughts?

Well, what does Demuriath want to do? ;) It's clear the dragonborn is getting talking points from someone. If he would gank the hooded guy, go for it.

So, dragon and gnolls in the keep fight.

We're doomed, right? I mean, the dragon's 120 down and not bloodied, four tough-looking gnolls are involved, Demuriath is below 0, no one can see anything, and - since the dragon did it twice in a round - I have to assume the dragon can lay down the darkness at-will (powers usually only recharge when bloodied or with the appropriate recharge roll at the start of the turn).

I seriously don't know what we're supposed to do now, or have should done in the encounter so far. It seems like all the door blocking and bridge holding has done nothing but get us trapped with a dragon in a dark room instead.

Also, defenders in heavy armor suck in a running fight. Can't move fast, and can't really do much to mark as the enemies keep changing.

Assuming Demuriath can use an item free action while dazed, he will maybe be back alive next round (barely) as I can reroll a death save with +10. At the very least, he will still be dazed and standing. However, too many rounds of that with an enemy with an attack like a dragon and he will be very dead.

Edit: Unfortunately, he can't do anything while dazed and LoS blocked except make that death save.

I think you can still make attacks while adjacent when dazed and blinded even without LOS, the attacks just take -5 to hit. There's also movement.

BTW, I can't remember how revenant unnatural vitality works. Do we know/did we decide what is meant by a "failed death save" which would cause Dem to fall unconscious? My guess would be a roll under 10, but can't recall.

A death save is only a failure if it's under 10. 10-19 does not improve your condition, but is also not a failure.

I really, really hope there is a "they get captured" contingency for this bit  Hadad will keep dropping bombs into the room sight unseen, and lets hope I don't hit friendlies in the darkness. I don't really know that we have any good options.

Did I drop the ball here? I was under the impression that between the sibling's attacks, we were committed to combat.

The description wasn't meant to be a reaction solely to haddad attac since dem and edeya also already attacked. Your attack merely happened to kill one of them, so I would say negotiating peacefully would be much more difficult now.
