Here's Salazar's Level 22 sheet. For his feat, I took Squire of Righteousness (multiclass paladin, adds training in the Intimidate skill) and for this utility, I took Platinum Scales. For his loot, his staff went from +4 to +5 (and he gained some extra gold).

Ravenblade is the only regular PC left (Daggoth I only update when Marek can make a live session). I'll try to update him tomorrow, but since Viktor won't be there Saturday it may slide. I'll get him done before Monday, though, so he's up to date by the next time we start on the boards.

Gary was asking about cash to buy items. At the end of this encounter, assuming you search the enemy's rooms, the party will get approximately 17,650 platinum pieces worth of currency and treasure, or 2,900 pp per character.

Here are the other possible Level 22 powers I am looking at (all of them are dailies):

Heart of the Titan: Standard Action, Ranged 10 on me or one ally; Target gains THP of surge+Cha mod (I think that will be +8?). Until the target loses that number of THP, they add my Cha mod to damage (+8), and can't be dazed, immobilized, pulled, pushed, restrained, slid, slowed, stunned, or weakened.

Heroic Surge: Imm Rxn, when me or an ally w/in 5 takes damage, Close Burst 5; Me and each ally in burst can spend a surge and gain that +Cha mod (+8) HP.

Avenge Me: Imm Int, when I drop to 0 HP, Close Burst 10 on each ally in burst; Each target can spend a surge and gain that +Cha mod (+8) HP. UEE, targets gain +2 att and damage.

Stirring Declaration: Minor, Stance; Until the stance ends, each time I hit with an attack, allies w/in 10 gain 5 +Cha Mod (+8) THP, and 1 ally can make a saving throw. Everyone gets Cha Mod (+8) bonus to saves against fear effects.

Each of these grant lots of THP and HP. Heroic Surge and Avenge Me are almost identical, except that Avenge Me has a rarer trigger (ok for a Daily), has a bigger range, and an extra bonus. The negatives to Avenge Me, is that it doesn't affect me AND I can't trigger it and my ring in the same drop to 0 HP. Basically it sacrifices around 35 HP for it being a last ditch boost to everyone else.

Heart of the Titan only works on one ally and requires a standard, but basically gives that person invulnerability to effects until they get hit a lot. It depends on how much that affects our party, but I think those affects are generally worse for me than the others.

The last one is the one I am thinking the most about. I don't have a stance yet, and I will be able to continually grant THP (if I can hit, of course), plus I can grant an out of turn saving throw (would have been nice this battle). There is a bonus to fear affects, but I am not sure how much fear comes up. In order for the amount of healing to be roughly equivalent to Heroic Surge, I would need to hit 3-4 times with the stance active, which is totally doable in a big fight.

Any thoughts?

I obviously liked Avenge Me. Healing and buffing the group when the healer/buffer goes down appeals to me. The other finalist for me was Heroic Surge for the similar but controllable use.

I've updated Salazar's PDF. With the extra loot, I had him upgrade his Siberys Shard of the Mage from Paragon (+3 damage) to Epic (+5 damage). He now does XdY + 37 damage on his attacks.

I've also created a PC for my eldest kid to join the game tomorrow with an elf ranger, in Viktor's place. Tried to keep it as simple as possible given level 22, with the focus being on math perks for powers, feats, and items instead of complicated tricks.

With Marek joining us, I've level Daggoth up to level 22. Upgraded his axe from +4 to +5, gave him a feat that lets him make a free MBA once per round when he drops an enemy, and a utility power that's a big daily self-heal (plus the usual math bonuses of more HP, higher bonuses, etc.).

Gary, for Ravenblade's level 23 items and encounter power switch, here's what I'm thinking.

Give him a +5 dwarven throwing craghammer to match the other +5 and make the math easy.

Upgrade his Melora's Storm Blessing as much as possible.

Swap out the encounter power "Ruffling Sting" for the level 23 power "Avalanche of Fury" if the power isn't faulty. If it is faulty, then take the power "Ricochet Throw" instead.

Here's the wording for "Avanlanche of Fury":

Encounter ✦ martial, reliable, weapon
Standard Action
Melee Weapon
Target: One creature

Primary Attack: Strength vs. AC (main weapon)
Effect: Make a secondary attack against the target.
Secondary Attack: Strength vs. AC (off-hand weapon)
Hit: 3[W] + Strength modifier damage.
Miss: You do not expend this power.

At first glance it looks like a keyword: reliable power with two attacks against one creature. Also, if the second attack misses (or both attacks?) then the power is not expended. That part is unclear. Or, another way to read it is make one attack that does nothing at all but trigger the effect, but hey you at least get to roll dice, then only the secondary attack potentially does damage, and on a miss the power is not expended.
Basically, I would take this power if it's one that grants two attacks and we can figure out the reliable bit. If it's just one attack, please swap in "Richochet Throw" instead.

Here's Ravenblade's Level 23 sheet. For his encounter power, I took Avalanche of the Fury (I read it as a regular attack and damage first attack, and that the reliable seems keyed to the second attack - if the second misses you don't burn the power). For his loot, his Dwarven Thrower Craghammer +4 became a Dwarven Thrower Craghammer +5 and his Melora's Storm Blessing went from level 8 to level 18.

Here are the level 23 powers I am considering:

Pillar to Post: 3W damage, ally flanking creature with you gets MBA, if ally hits, I get a 1W attack. This is the Death from Two Sides replacement, but I am not sure it is better (me and an ally attack and if both hit, ally gets a crit).

Sudden Assault: 1W damage and ally w/in 5 gets a standard action

Great Dragon War Cry: 3W damage and target is weakened UENT and UEE, allies get +7 to damage on all weakened enemies (only useful if others can weaken)

Shutdown Smite: vs. Will; 3W damage and target can't recharge any powers or use APs UENT

I would probably get rid of Sacrificial Lure (high-ish damage, at the expense of granting CA)

I haven't seen the MP2 powers yet, but believe a couple to possibly be better than these. Gary, can you post or e-mail me the MP 2 level 23 powers? Thanks!

Of those four I like Sudden Assault. A standard can do a lot of stuff. Even just giving Salazar an extra Blazing Starfall can be hundreds of points of damage, or let Hedoni rearrange the battlefield.

RIGHTEOUS RESCUE
Immediately after you use your righteous shield, you can take a free action to teleport up to 5 squares to a square adjacent to the target.
