Here's a link to Ravenblade's backstory. Like Josh, I am certain we had more on the wiki before, but some things have been deleted. I reentered my backstory info. Actually, some of it maybe only Emily ever saw, but it's common knowledge to the party now so anyone can feel free to read it. I hadn't read for years now (yes, we've been playing that long) and looking at it is kind of amusing.

Ravenlade's life before the Liberators and how he met Mal and Daggoth.

As for backstory connections, Rav obviously knew Mal and Daggoth and when Jonathan joined we had he Mul be from the same clan as Ravenblade, but they are sort of fighting rivals akin to Legolas and Gimli. I'm not sure Ravix fits well into Ravenblade's backstory anywhere, but feel free to concoct anything you'd like.

It's on the orange power card on the character sheet. 0-5 squares is normal range, and you can throw it 6-10 squares with a -2 penalty to the attack roll.

Ari, I've added the Belt of Mountain Endurance to Ravix's PDF below. However, the Character Builder is dumb and doesn't automatically add the belt's bonus to his healing surge value. His surge value should be 38. I've updated this info on the party info spreadsheet. You should update your stat block with the new value and the info about the new belt.

Gary, can you please make the following changes to Ravenglade's character sheet.

Level 19 daily (Cruel Cage of Steel) to replace Scything Blow daily.
Level 15 daily (Steeling Flurry) swapped out for level 15 daily (Blade Cascade).
Level 10 utility (Spot Weakness) swapped out for level 10 utility (Blood of the Fallen).

Swap out the +3 craghammers for the new +4 magic craghammer and +4 dwarven thrower craghammer.

Once done, can you please email me the new pdf and the new dnd4e file. I can use the pdf for my statblock and I can use the 4e file for my android app.

I think my best option is probably Victory Surge: 2W dam and USNT, every ally w/in 10 follows up their Standard Action with a Basic Attack as a Free Action. If I miss, only 1 ally can do that. Either way, I can sustain the power with a minor action and essentially continue the miss effect (so, I grant a basic attack at the expense of a minor action every round).

The two alternates I have in mind are Break the Tempo (4W dam, with effect of use an Imm Int when the target attacks to move 4 and make MBA and on hit, target takes -1 to attack rolls; sustain minor) and Exhorted Counterattack (Imm Rxn, when ally within 20 is hit, ally gets a free surge in healing +5 HP and makes 2 basic attacks as an OA with +5 to damage; if either hits, enemy is dazed (SE).

I will be getting rid of Staggering Spin. Also, Gary, can you send me the Captain of Fortune info. Thanks!

Since I have two Daily Attack powers for each level, do I get to replace two with two others?

If so, I'm replacing Bigby's Icy Grasp and Stinking Cloud with Disintegrate and Cloudkill (both PHB 166). I don't like any of the offerings in AP, and those are the only books I have with wizard spells. If any of you know of better choices, I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks again Gary, for updating the files. For some reason Ravenblade seems to have an extra daily power (Commanding Confrontation, level 1). I think we're only supposed to have three daily powers, right?

On a different note, here is a weblink that will be immensely useful for all of us without access to dndinsider and the online compendium. http://stealthygeek.com/dnd/compendium/powers.html

It includes a drop-down at the top to basically have access to every background, theme, power, feat, item, paths, glossary, races, etc. All the source books essentially.

Here's Salazar's level 21 stat block, including a link to his new level 21 PDF.

For his level 20 feat, he took Superior Fortitude and retrained Improved Defenses to Lightning Reflexes. For his level 21 feat, he took Quickened Spellcasting (Blazing Starfall), which lets him use that at-will as a minor action once per encounter - extra damage!

For his epic destiny, he took Draconic Incarnation. More dragon-y off-defender/striker goodness.

For his loot and shopping, he upgraded his Laughing Death Drowmesh +3 armor to Anathema Armor of Resistance +5 (Necrotic Resist), upgraded his Brooch of Vitality +3 to a Necklace of Fate +4, and upgraded his heroic tier Guantlets of Blood and Fireheart Tattoo to their paragon versions.

I'm considering the following. Advice and recommendations welcome (I don't have nearly as many books as you guys).

Level 20 feat: Arcane Reach - Choose square within 2 as origin with close attack power. (PHB202)

Level 21 feat: Spell Accuracy: Omit squares from any area or close wizard power (PHB207) OR Wizard Implement Expertise: Score critical hit on 19 or 20 (AP 135).

Epic Destiny: Immanence - gain resist 20 to the first type of damage you're hit with each encounter until the end of that encounter, and the "If you go down to 0 hit points..." feature is at level 24 instead of 30. I don't see anything particularly teleporty out there, but if there is one, let me know.

Those are a LOT of item upgrades. Wow. How much of that was found, and how much bought?

I'd like to exchange my Planestrider boots for Eladrin Boots (both PHB 246) IF the +2 to my teleportation distance stacks with the +1 my ring gives. If not, I'll keep the Planestrider. Otherwise, I'm open to recommendations for items to find/buy.

For Arcane Reach, do you have a lot of close powers? Hammerfall Step? I might use that more than if I qualify.

Spell Accuracy and Wizard Implement Expertise are both good. If they're both Epic, you can take a filler feat for 20 and retrain if at 21 to SA or WIE for bookkeeping purposes.

I'll see if any epic destinies are teleporty.

Salazar armor was from his new item haul, and the rest were paid for with existing funds and his share of the new monetary loot.

Eladrin Boots and your Ring of Retreat would stack without a problem so I'll set you up with the new boots.

I think those look fine, Mike, without knowing what else you are considering.

I still need to figure out my feats and items, but these are the two Epic Destinies I am considering:

Legendary Sovereign: Level 21: Charisma increases by 2 and once per encounter when I make a critical hit, each ally within 10 can make a basic attack as a free action. Level 24: Once per day, when making a death saving throw, instead regain bloodied value of HP, end all effects, and stand up. Level 26: daily utility, when you score a crit or reduce an enemy to 0 HP, each ally within 10 gains temp HP equal to my level + Cha mod (at that point it would be 33 THP minimum) and a bonus to basic and at-will attacks equal to my Cha mod (at least +7) UEE or I am dropped to 0 HP. Level 30: One encounter power I have is not expended unless I miss with every target. In addition, I choose a place to rule once adventuring is done; I get +4 to all Cha based checks in that area, plus I have property and people that take care of it.

Indomitable Champion: Level 21: Increase two ability scores by 2 each. Level 24: Gain 20 HP and increase Fort, Reflex, and Will by +1. Level 26: Daily Utility, When you drop to 0 HP, Regain Surge value HP and +5 to all defenses UENT. Level 30: Level 30 daily utility, when you are hit by an attack, treat the roll as a 1.

I like the flavor of Legendary Sovereign and it would be much better if I had feats or items that increase crit range. Indomitable Champion has solid bonuses that pretty much work at all times.

Indomitable Champion is a good, solid always useful set of bonuses. Legendary has more flare. Either works nicely.

While I was trying to find some list of feats (to figure out which ones for Gary to look up), I found this wiki that has at the very least the lists of all of the powers, feats, epic destinies, etc. It doesn't have all of the descriptions, but it does have a lot of them.

Ok, I am going to take Legendary Sovereign and my feats are:

Level 20: Combat Commander - Combat Leader bonus changes from +2 to +Cha Modifier. Combat Leader is the party wide bonus to initiative and my Cha mod will be +7, so we are all getting a +5 bonus to initiative.

Level 21: Supreme Inspiration - When I use Inspiring Word, I can use it on 2 people at once (this gives me up to 8 heals an encounter now).

Also, so that I don't forget at next level, Level 22: Call to Glory - Whenever I grant an ally an attack, the ally gains half my level as THP.

I've been sort of away from deadgoblins for the last three weeks, busy with a LOT of running trips. I'm now catching up and see that we have some important character decisions to make.

Those are some great feats you're all picking. Josh, I love the flavor and effects of Legendary Sovereign. It's definitely Mal-ish.

I don't have dndinsider access any more and don't own all the source books so I'll try to figure things out. Any rangerish/paladinish/Ravenbladish suggestions are welcome. I'll take a look at the wiki Josh posted the link for. From past perusing of the online compendium when I had access, the only thing I can think of definitely taking at some point is the bludgeon weapon improved crit feat (19-20 is a crit).

Other than that, more resistances are nice and more speed is nice. As regards magic items, I'll also have to research a little, but I reckon it's time for Rav to improve his armor at the least.

Same goes with me. Murrak would like more charginess and defenderiness (defenses and resistances). Given his makeup, I don't think he would retrain pegasus for dragon, despite the awesomeness of riding a dragon.
