Just a nudge that this fight will level us up to Level 3, wherein we get a new encounter, more HP, and a chance to retrain a power/skill/feat. If you haven't figured out what you're doing, start thinking about it!

I'm taking Icy Rays - I love the idea of hitting two enemies that are no where near each other, or me, at the same time. Fire Shroud is tempting because it's close burst 3, but I haven't had a lot of times where it's me surrounded on all sides, with none of the rest of the party nearby (though I guess I could Fey Step into the middle of the fray, but getting out can be a problem...)

Icy Rays looks very cool and versatile. You will always be able to reach two enemies within 10 squares probably.

I also like the Shock Spere for its potential to hit tons of enemies within the 2 burst. Unfortunately it hits each creature and not each enemy, so you'd have the same limited use as the freezing cloud.

I have decided that Ravenblade will switch off-hand strike for Evasive Strike (off-hand strike was neat as a minor, but Evasive strike does double the damage and regardless of hitting allows extra movement either before or after the attack, plus it can be melee or ranged), keep Yield Ground for now, and take either Cut and Run (hits two enemies and moves you around the field) or Thundertusk boar Strike (hits two enemies and can push them around the field).

Icy Rays is certainly useful. It's also a good fight opener, as if you immobilize melee enemies for a turn, it effectively takes them out of the fight and lets us focus on those who can reach us (kinda like what you did to Sinruth, but even better). Also, your Burning Blizzard feat gives you bonus damage to Icy Rays (+1 damage on each attack).

All four of the Wizard Level 3 powers has something neat, though - Fire Shroud does ongoing damage and has a huge area of effect, Color Spay is a large blast and gives us all Combat Advantage on anyone hit, and Shock Sphere is a huge burst (the problem with Color Spray and Shock Sphere being they hit allies as well). Four fun choices is a problem I *wish* I had. :)

I like the switch off Off-Hand for Evasive, and I like Thundertusk Boar Strike. Evasive gives you a good mobility boost, and TBS gives another way to move enemies, which is handy.

I'll be taking Fiery Bolt for Salazar, as I described upthread. Gives me a big damage attack and a good group hit. Frigid Darkness looks fun with granting CA to others, but Fiery Bolt works with my Pact and does more damage.

Not retraining anything, I think. My current power suite seems to be working quite well.

You can email me your updated character sheet with level three information now if you want. After this encounter, the game will pause until everyone sends me his update.

I can also update everyone's info in the Character Builder over the weekend and send it out Tuesday (the PDF's I generate at home are huge files, and I reduce their file size with the full version of Adobe at work).

Only changes, just so I'm not missing anything (though I'm pretty sure my sheet handles it all for me):

Increase in HP (and Bloodied and Surge values)
Encounter power

That's simple.

That's right. Pretty straightforward, especially for those of us not retraining. Nothing else new, your bonuses don't even go up (that happens on even levels).
