Skeletal remains here and there assemble quickly and rise as the light dims into darkness.

      Shattered Sarcophagi: The doors on these are smashed open and they now stand as flat roofs set atop pillars of stone at their corners. They are 10 feet tall (Athletics DC 10 to climb), open on all sides and act as cover terrain. Its squares are difficult terrain.

You all hear some shuffling of feet and then a splat on the nearby sarcophagus (FLUB!). After that, there is a lot more shuffling of feet as you here several steps getting closer. Khav and Lan both feel the bite of a sword, while Khav also has his flesh ripped by claws (Khav hit 3 times for 20 total damage, bloodied, gains 5 THP, and marked by Blue UENT; Lan hit once for 6 dam and marked by Red UENT).

OOC: The room is dark, so until you add a light, I won't change anything's position on the map. In addition, because of this, I did not have Lan's ES trigger (I thought you would prefer having a full turn with light than a single attack without for the round) or Geen or Sentinel's potential interrupts trigger because of the -5 to hit. If you would like those to trigger, please say so before I resolve Sentinel's turn (whenever that may be).

"Yes, Lan. Light is most helpful." Sentinel surveys the room, then decides to place himself near the front of the conflict.

Actions:
Minor: Dimension Warp with Khav.
Standard: Sword of Sigils against Blue, B and A (24Hr) (cord exp) (1d20+12+1+1=20, 1d20+12+1+1=33, 1d20+12+1+1=15, 1d8+6=8)
Attack hits AC 20 blue, 33 B, and flub A for 8 damage. Upon a hit, target is makred by SoS and takes 4 force damage for not including Sentinel in an attack. Sentinel can use imm int to reduce damage of that attack by 3.

OOC: Are we not going on the same assumption as in SoW that Kurvilis always has a light on? I thought that was the rule. If not, can we do that from now on?

Now able to see his foes, Sentinel teleports Khav out of the way as he takes his place. Then, he swings his sword around hitting two of the skeletons and causing one to collapse (8 dam to Blue and Decrepit B, Blue is SoS marked UENT, B is killed).

OOC: I was not aware of that assumption. Also, having a light can draw unwanted attention. If you want to always have it on that is fine. I will now assume that Disruptive Strike is used on the next skeleton attack, unless told otherwise. And Dimensional Vortex is used on the next melee hit not on Sentinel, unless told otherwise.

Khav stabs at the hobgoblin skeleton and, despite having no distractions, he hits it in a delicate part of the vertebrae.

Since the crypts are 10 feat high, I don't think I can flank Blue from J8, so I'm just going to swing with no CA.

Standard action - Melee Basic with short sword against Blue, using Furious Assault on a hit.

MBA Short Sword Blue (24H) (1d20+12+1=33, 1d6+7=13) / Crit (1d12=1)

Hits AC 33 - CRIT! - for 20 (6 weapon + 7 mods + 1 crit + 6 FA) damage. Too bad I didn't have Sneak Attack and Backstab.

Khav easily cuts some of the bones off of the nearest skeleton, causing it to look much less intimidating (CRIT! for 20 dam on Blue Skeleton, bloodied).

One of the less held together skeletons charges Sentinel. As he swings, Geen lets loose a bolt that misses wide (Disruptive Strike (+11 W, +1 24hr) (1d20+12=14, 1d10+6=14)). The skeleton continues its swing and rips some of the metal of the warforged (5 dam to Sentinel).

So many skeletons close by. Kurvilis sends some flying. He then sends illusions at more skeletons.

Standard: Beguiling strands beguiling strands vs blue, f, a, h, d (1d20+10+1=29, 1d20+11=12, 1d20+11=17, 1d20+11=19, 1d20+11=28) Hits WILL 29 on blue, flub on f, WILL 17 on a, WILL 19 on h, WILL 28 on d for 7 psychic damage and pushing 6, which only matters for blue, so pushing to D6

Kurvilis uses his main Amalorkar power to shove four of the skeletons away from him, destroying three in the process (Blue, A, D, and H hit for 7 dam; A, D, and H are killed). Seeing an opening, Kurvilis continues his assault on the skeletons, reaching into what is left of their brains and holding them in place (Blue, Green, and Shadow hit for 11 dam, Blue is killed, Green and Shadow slowed/-2 to hit Kurvilis/grant CA to Kurvilis UENT).

Lan looks around in the light and sees that Khav is wounded. He quickly sends some healing thoughts his way. Deciding to get out of the corner, he ignores the skeleton and tries climbing the sarcophagus, but stubs his toe. Angered at his clumsiness he commands ruthlessly, "Khav! Get over here and gut this thing!" The ire in his voice is accompanied by his furious emotions and Khav is compelled to obey. He shifts closer and stabs the skeleton, unhinging a hip bone making it vulnerable to further damage.

Minor: Ardent Surge Khav (10+1d6=16)
Move: to L7, grants OA to red, Lan has +3 defenses, Athletics to climb (1d20+1+1=7)
Standard: Ire Strike, augment 2, Khav shifts to K9 and makes a MBA vs RED, on a hit does 1d8 extra damage (already included) and red has vulnerability 6 UENT Lan. (1d20+12+1=25, 1d6+7=13, 1d8=3)

OOC: That's too bad. I wanted to go around red and have Khav shift into flanking for more damage with augment 2 Ire Strike. Khav heals 16 with one surge, +1 all def UENT Lan, now at 35+5 thp/40. Lan ends at L9. Khav ends at K9. Red takes 16 damage and has vulnerable 6 UENT Lan.

Lan heals Khav and tries to scramble up the broken sarcophagus (16 HP healed, use a surge, +1 def UENT). The skeleton cuts Lan as he moves by, though, and the massive hit seems to distracts Lan enough that he doesn't make it up the grave site (Lan takes 14 damage). Angry at his mistakes in battle, Lan orders Khav to take the skeleton out and the half-orc does his best to stop the skeleton (16 dam to Red, Vulnerable 6 UENT Lan).

The farther hobgoblin skeleton does all it can to get closer, but that isn't much. Two more of the broken down skeletons charge Sentinel, one scraping the warforged and one barely hitting his armor (5 dam to Sentinel).

OOC: Geen should go for red. Between Sentinel and Kurvilis, we should be able to handle the minions without problem. Plus vuln 6 makes for yummy twin striking. =)

Geen looks around. Where's a good target? No good place to hide. Oh well, best to just shoot point blank then.

He moves in a little for a better angle on a target and with two thwacks shoots off twin bolts at the skeleton that Lan has exposed.

Geen fires two bolts at the skeleton near Lan, causing bones to fly everywhere (hit twice for 24 dam, bloodied).

The farthest skeleton walks forward and charges Sentinel. Like the others, its claws dig into the metal flesh (hit for 5 dam). The last decrepit skeleton climbs the nearby sarcophagus (Athletics success) and claws at Khav (hit for ?? dam).

OOC: Thanks, Viktor. Does Scott know we are on this thread now? Also, Sentinel has a chance to use DimVort on Decrepit F. Do you want to?

The decrepit skeleton cuts into Khav's flesh (5 dam to Khav). The shadow skeleton throws another black orb out, this time at Sentinel, but it is almost as badly aimed. Finally, the nearly dead hobgoblin skeleton hacks at Lan, but the blade is deflected by the ardent's armor.
