Geen shuffles into action, and likes how his new quarry is injured so badly. He moves into cover after firing a couple quick bolts at the nearby zombie. He knows for sure one is a solid hit, but is already turning away as he lets the 2nd shot go.

He jets into cover, using the shadows and the rock to his advantage and to hide from enemy combatants. Once there, he surveys the battlefield as best he can and awaits something to come into his field of view to attack one of his friends.

Geen fires two quick bolts at the nearest zombie, killing it with the first as the second goes wide (one hit for 17 damage, killed).

One of the archers peaks out from behind its boulder and hits Sentinel in the shoulder with an arrow (5 damage to Sentinel).

OOC: Disruptive Strike was already used to hit Naersaar when he charged Sentinel.

OOC-With my 1st shot killing the zombie, I would have put my 2nd shot on the next closest, likely A or B...would the shot have hit?

"Sentinel, stand your ground. Let them come to us." commands Lan, choosing to also bide his time.

OOC: Can't think of any sensible tactic with them being so far away, unless we all choose to back up into the cave entrance and use that as a choke point. Deciding to have Lan and Sentinel delay until after zombie rotter C. We'll see how things look then. Might use Sentinel's teleporting interrupt power if someone is attacked, but not sure how it works.

"Shall we enter the breach, Sentinel?" suggests Lan. The warforged marches forward after scanning the threat profiles of the enemies before him. "Awaiting further coordination." he calls back to Lan and readies Ashurta's Blade.

Sensing Sentinel's intentions, Lan boldly moves forward to retrace the warforged's steps. As he nears the hobgoblin he shouts. "Now Sentinel!" and Ahshurta's blade swings neatly in a sigil pattern around the swordmage. Finishing his movement, Lan thrusts his halberd at a hobgoblin and sends the glory energy from the strike towards Sentinel for added protection.

Move: to J12, via i10 and i11, provoking OA from red but with effective +5 def (3 from mantle, 2 from being marked) and will use Sentinel's aegis to reduce damage by 8 if hit)
Free: at i11, Lan speaks the words above to trigger Sentinel's attack and grant coordinated explosion +1
Standard: Energizing Strike red, AC, hit 11, +1 24h, +2 CA. On a hit, granting Sentinel 7 thp. (1d20+14=24, 1d10+6=10)

OOC: Lan gives Sentinel the command to attack during movement. If this kills red, then Lan will target blue instead if it's still alive, otherwise purple. Also, I suppose this dual maneuver technically only works if Lan delays until after Sentinel.

Sentinel wades into the group of zombies and avoids an attack with Lan's help. He marks one of the zombies and waits as Lan charges in. When Lan is ready, Sentinel swings around, dropping one zombie and cutting the other two (13 damage to B, Red, and Blue, Blue has SoS mark, B is killed).

Lan is unable to avoid the attack as he continues through, but Sentinel's aegis keeps the fist from hurting him (5 damage to Lan absorbed by AoS). He then continues his attack and lops an arm off of the zombie (10 damage to Red, bloodied, 7 THP to Sentinel).

An archer fires at Lan and misses as one of the decrepit zombies shambles forward, smacking him in the back (Lan hit for 6 damage).

Kurvilis moves forward. This is almost like a game. Power, so much power! The air around him ripples, and zombies scatter like leaves. He stares back at Geen and nods.

Move: Walk to H8
Standard: Beguiling strands vs purple, red, blue, A BG vs purple, red, blue, A (1d20+10+1=24, 1d20+10+1=24, 1d20+10+1=21, 1d20+10+1=24) Hits WILL 24 on Purple, Red, and A, and WILL 21 on Blue for 8 psychic damage and pushing up to 5. Let's' have them all end adjacent to C in case someone has a nice burst 1.

Kurvilis easily forces the undead back into a small area (all are hit for 9 damage, Rotter A is killed, Blue is bloodied).

"Khav, you look worried! These zombies are nothing, we will defeat them, and then you can rest!" Yeraa calls back as she runs forward, lifting his spirits (Khav heals 12 HP). When she reaches a zombie she waves her bastard sword around and hacks a hand off of the zombie, leaving it vulnerable (13 damage to Purple, bloodied, allies gain +2 to hit Purple UENT Yeraa). The zombie next to the cliff charges the Wordbearer, but can't lay a hand on her.

OOC: You didn't even crit any of them, so it didn't matter. If you want the item, you had a chance to speak up when it was handed out or you could ask. Please don't say "I should have gotten it."

Khav realizes that he's not the sort who benefits from his foes all being clustered together and he goes after the isolated zombie, even it isn't hurt yet. Easily losing the creature's vacant gaze with his weaving, Khav hurls a dagger straight through the zombie's throat.

Geen spots the archers on the far side of the ravine, but they are too far to mark as his quarry. He focuses to all the fighting near the center and springs out from behind the rock he is hiding from. He fires off a quick shot from his crossbow and the bolt sinks into the side of the creature. The zombie teeters...

Without waiting, he begins staggering his shots, leaving his target only if it has fallen. More zombies, more targets, more dying undeads...

Geen then tries to slip off into the ravine off to his right, but he kicks to much gravel on his way. At least, though, he is in full cover from those snipers.

Geen sneaks out from behind the boulder and sends three quick bolts, killing one zombie and hitting another (Red hit for 11 damage, killed; Blue hit once for 3 damage). The wilden continues on his way and sneaks behind the cliff.

One of the archers responds by pegging Yeraa (9 damage to Yeraa). "Foul abomination! You desecrate the memories of goblinkind!" The zombie next to her grabs her wounded arm and punches her in the face (Yeraa is grabbed by Purple and takes 8 damage). "Argghh! Foul beasts! You will pay!" The next zombie walks up to Lan, trying the same thing, but can't grab onto anything or connect with its fist. It does, however, feel the sting of Sentinel's sigil (4 damage to Blue). The last rotted zombie walks up to Yeraa and tries to punch her but the hand simply falls off midswing.

OOC: I had a hard time deciphering what you wanted, but I think I got it. Also, you are in row 9, not 10, but it is effectively the same.

OOC: Actually, you used Sword of Sigils before which is vs. AC and the higher attack bonus. Sword Burst is vs. Reflex, so it uses the sword as an implement.

OOC-Surge-wise, we're mostly all good, except for Khav. Wish we had Comrade Succor ritual.

We may end up getting an extended rest by default if this is the final bit of this part of the adventure.

Also, has Geen used his crossbow daily. It's been awhile and I don't have it marked off as used...Gonna use it next turn.

Also, I'd like to get at those snipers, but I hate not having HQ on my targets. I'll likely use Twin shot, one shot on each hobgoblin zombie, hoping for kills, and clearing a path for everyone else to rush the snipers. If you guys kill them before my turn, then even better as I'll engage them with bolt fire.

Kurvilis repeats his favorite spell on this ground and easily kills the remaining hobgoblin zombies (8 damage to Purple and Yellow, both killed). One zombie had remains on Yeraa as it collapses to the floor. She pulls it off, saying, "Thank you. Now to finish these off and put the goblin souls to rest." She moves faster than any of you as she steps around a boulder and tries to cut that zombie down, but simply hist the rock.
