Just realized that half this group isn't even a normal flesh and blood living creature. Dwimmerlaik, Hammer, and Koliak are dead, metal/stone/wood, and crystal, respectively. Only Corvan, Tchort, and Jak actually have blood flowing through their bodies.

Here are our Bloodred tokens! It seems, for one reason or another, that our PC's personalities and class pair up nicely as seen below.
![]() Jon, I've sent you an excel file via email with these tokens inside. If you use excel to place your maps and enemies, then you can just copy paste the tokens into your battle map excel file. ![]() _______________ Ravenblade - Dwarf Two-Weapon Ranger, Hammer of Moradin (Scales of War) |

I know it's common sense to not flood the game with Jak's actions and thoughts. And that I shouldn't do much more in a single post than can be accomplished in a single round with looser rules that apply outside of a combat situation. Is there an etiquette to how many posts I make compared to another player?

Some players post more, some less. Do whatever makes you happy. Just if you are going to make skill rolls, please wait for me to resolve before rolling new ones.

I wouldn't worry about posting frequently until you're responding to yourself.
![]() Also, don't think Tchort's mental ramblings and complaining about Jak's actions correspond to me having any issue with how you're choosing to play your character. _______________ Sentinel - Warforged Shielding Swordmage (Eberron) Allena Walmond - Human Paladin of Amaunator (Forgotten Realms) Variel - Elf Beastmaster Ranger Thaelan the Clanless - Dwarf Protector Spirit Shaman (Dungeon Delve 4) |

Ok, thanks for the clarifications
![]() Don't worry, I don't hold your characters views against you. We're role-playing and it's fine to have differing opinions. _______________ Jak - Minotaur Paladin 1, The Dark Campaign
Narg - Razorclaw Shifter Scout 6, Points of Light |

I say GO CRAZY! The more posts the better. In a PbP game, RPing can really shine, as you have time to think of your post, edit, and finalize. At the table, everything is much faster, so less time to elaborate with the RPing as we do here.

I just wanted to clarify that all in character bitching about some overgrown piece of veal ruining intelligent plans were just that: in character bitching.

I know what's going on, Nathan, but it doesn't hurt for you to clarify since there's someone new in this group.
Similarly, Dwimmerlaik will never be enthusiastic about anything, except maybe getting a change to be killed, but I'll manage to find a way to shuffle him along with the party towards whatever goal we're working towards at the time. _______________ Salazar Miller - Human Sorcerer 24 - Scales of War Azad Halim al'Zahir - Tiefling Battlemind|Paladin 7 - Points of Light Khavak'aashta - Half-Orc Thief 5 - Eberron Dwimmerlaik - Revenant Hexblade 2 - Dark Campaign |

Clarification good, but after reading and posting in the planning thread with you guys, I can tell that your characters are talking and not you.
Drasach, I totally agree about the RPing point. PBP gives MUCH more time for proper composition and phrasing than coming up with it on the fly at the table. Perfect example is when my diplomacy roll on the table is 42, and I get no where with the DM because I couldn't think of the right words to say on the spot. _______________ Jak - Minotaur Paladin 1, The Dark Campaign
Narg - Razorclaw Shifter Scout 6, Points of Light |

I concur, PbP RPing is very fun and allows for mechanics that would be impossible during a live session; portraying character thoughts, two PC's whispering to each other only, describing your PC's perception of events to name a few.
As someone who tends to post more out of turn than most, yes I admit it ![]() Using OOC comments always helps to clarify if you feel uncomfortable or that your RP might be misconstrued as the real you. OOC can also be used to make story or battle tactic suggestions, even if your RP post denys any such ideas (e.g. Hammer isn't likely to make grand tactical suggestions, but Josh might have great ideas to post in OOC at the same time as Hammer is described to dumbly charge forward). _______________ Ravenblade - Dwarf Two-Weapon Ranger, Hammer of Moradin (Scales of War) |
