"Is little Ogre afraid of Hulk? Hulk solve problem. Soon, Ogre not be scared of anything anymore." Hulk walks over to the ogre he has been fighting and smashes its head further with his maul.

Moving away from the ogre, Grim curses the nearest orc and prepares to unleash his dark powers. Droping his guard to concentrate, the orc manages to land a telling blow for 10 damage. Then, Grim unleashes his own attack, gravely wounding the orc (bloodied, pact initiatied)

Striding forward past the shocked orc, Hulk lands a solid and telling blow against his chosen adversary. His strong attack leaves him slightly off balance, and open to a counter attack, however.

OOC-Does Hulk mind getting dazed? He is sort of in the way of a blast 5 power. If I hit my target, I can daze each of them using Color Spray.

If not, I'll use Thunderwave or Winged Horde....

Saphiro raises his orb to elbow level and focuses on the large, feeble minds of the two ogre brutes. It only takes a simple twist....just so, and both of them feel a piercing pain like a knife thrust into their brains, disturbing their sense of equilibrium. He then shifts cautiously closer.

Standard: 1d20+11+1=27, 1d20+11+1+2=30, 1d8+9=14 Cranial Disturbance, no augment, vs green ogre and teal ogre
Move: shift to L12, grants +1 AC/Reflex

OOC: CS hits 27 FORT vs green and 30 FORT vs teal, does 14 damage and knocks prone on a hit. Shift 1 space, gaining boost in defenses.

Saphiro's attacks both hit, knocking the monsters prone. Feeling a bit safer he advances into the hallway.
An orc, deciding he wants none of the massive blade wielding lizard creature, moves towards his ogre masters and throws a hand axe at Hulk...a hand axe that sails over Hulk's head.

Sending forth a sudden blast of cold, Etherra manages to chill one ogre and an orc. (Damage reduced on ogre due to being insubstantial)The ogre which has been barking out orders appears unaffected. Then, stepping back, she drops another bit of mystical difficulty between herself and the biggest threats.

Stepping forward, Kelleth lands a stiff blow against the downed ogre. Bleeding profusely, the creature roars in pain. As Grim can curse every other monster by triggering his curse while using his weapon option, I'll assume he does this. Curse removed from green, spread to every other monster from K6. Enraged, the ogre lashes out at Hulk. Despite beign prone and under Kelleth's rictus grin, the ogre's careful and measured attack strikes true for 19-6 damage.

Emboldened by his ally's strike, the new ogre (teal) takes a careful and measured attack. Not seeing the attack, Hulk suffers a brutal liver shot that drops him. Thankfully, he passes out from the pain before he can fully comprehend the rearrangement of his internal organs (crit for 25 damage. Hulk is at -1 and dying!) Showing surprising agility for such a huge creature, the ogre then moves about the battlefield, avoiding the magical terrain, to approach Kelleth from the rear.

With Hulk down, the bloodied ogre (green) rises to his feet with a wicked grin on his face. Saying something incomprehensible (to the conscious party members) in ancient giant, he leans over Kelleth and swings a quick one-two with is club. The first blow goes wide, but the second appears to be on target. Then, suddenly, Kelleth simply wills that it miss, and it does (Iron mind activated, and VERY helpful)

Seeing the tide appearing to turn, the battered orc moves out from between the wizard and warlock and he takes a hard swing at the wizard. The attack hits in the square of Etherra's chest. Lucky for her, the axe head was facing sideways (5 damage). Our heroes are dismayed to see the orc seem to catch his second wind as he shrugs off many of his apparent wounds as simple abrasions (orc heals 10).

OOC: When Hulk is hit, Grim will use Life Siphon to get +2 to his next attack roll and regain 5 HP.

Grim, slightly recharged, curses the newly bloodied ogre, then moves away, turning to send a magical strangulation toward it.

Minor: Curse Green
Move: Walk to O8, granting concealment due to shadow walk
Standard: Shadow Strangler1d20+12+2+1=32, 2d8+7+1d6=20 Hits REF 32 for 20 damage and on a hit, green gets -2 to attack rolls UENT and each time it makes an attack roll UENT it takes 4 damage, and using 2 charges from Gloves of Curious Admixture to deal 2d6=7 7 more fire damage, so 27 damage total.

As the brute of a man named Hulk falls hard, Saphiro wonders if his life essence will have somewhere to return to, to be a greater part of the universe. He supposes he'll never truly be able to find that out and re-focuses his attention on destroying the minds and bodies of these fleshy enemies. He once more raises his orb and his thoughts coalesce into destructive clarity.

Concentrating upon the Ogre leader, the shardminds dish out a world of mental pain upon it, knocking it prone and feeling strangled. With the huge Goliath out of the way, the orc furthest from the battle charges directly at the injured wizard. Lashing out with its axe, the orc lands a crushing blow that leaves Etherra gasping in pain. (12 damage)

OOC: I'm sorry about the delays. Moving has been a lot of work, even if my commute has shrunk. I hope to get onto a good regular update system. Once I get my desktop up and running, that will help. My netbook's 600 lines of resolution makes map work brutal. Etherra's HP should be at 1. My mistake.

Summoning her most powerful spell, Etherra creates a highly temping illusion. All the monsters, save the fresh ogre, are attracted to the "treasure". Even the downed ogre manages to crawl towards the prize, only to find himself fully enthralled.

Moving to his downed ally, Kelleth's inexperience with putting innards back together shows. Despite his best efforts, Hulk shows no improvement.

Edging away from his strangely behaving comrades, the virtually unwounded ogre swings a wild strike that Kelleth easily avoids. Meanwhile, the prone ogre rises to his feet and decides to reach out and attack Kelleth also. Yelping in pain (4 damage) he nevertheless manages to graze Kelleth for 17 damage (Gary, Iron mind was used here. If that changes anything, or I'm incorrect, let me know. It hit by 1, so it matters. Also, monsters can stand while immobilized? Seems weird.) Then, flexing his legs, the monster turns away from the illusionary treasure and looks about (save made). Finally, one of the orcs throws an axe at Kelleth while staring at the treasure. The axe flies high, and the orc can't seem to take his eyes from the treasure (save failed).

OOC for GM: Did you take into account the -3 to 1st saving throws from my two magic items? I see the one ogre saved, perhaps you rolled an 11 or 12.... ;P

[FREE] Looking at Saphiro next to her, she asks coolly through the obvious pain she is in, "You got something to help me. Perhaps a potion? I'm out."
