OOC: Poor Blue. Already prone, restrained, marked, and slowed. Also, I think all of those damages are divided by 2. The format is fine. We normally put our drop down stat blocks in every turn as well (with any encounters and dailies used crossed out and updated HP).

Saphiro waits to see if the orc keeps its balance or not. This part is always somewhat entertaining.

OOC: Got ogre/orc mixed up but definitely want to target black, the little key closest to Saphiro. I'm hoping with Saphiro's 12 initiative, I'll get to go before the enemies in the first normal round.

OOC: Typically the DM rolls initiative for all enemies and all PC's to speed things up. I guess Nathan already must have rolled for us since enemies and PC's are listed in a random looking order. My mistake, I thought he might not have.

With a brutal charge, Hulk hurls himself against a larger opponent. His massive assault and quick maul are enough to throw the ogre back and knock it hard on its butt. Saphiro, not to be outdone, simple points his staff at the nearest orc and the beast drops like a rock to the floor. Finally, Etherra Bells conjures fierce shadow creatures from beyond this world, which reach up and convince all of her targets thye are being held. The ogre already down believes he is grasped so strongly, that he doesn't even think he can move.

With a sudden burst of speed, Kelleth charges the downed orc and lands a nasty blow. Somewhat expected, he feels his blade partially phase though his enemy. Shortly after the Githzerai's attack, several of the monsters fully solidify and take the offensive.

The orc furthest from the action steps forward slightly, and pulls a hand axe from his belt. With a practiced eye, he hurls the axe at Hulk. Despite an attempted dodge, the axe just grazes Hulkfor 9 damage. Encouraged by his ally's success, the downed orc rises to his feat and takes a hard swing at Kelleth with a greataxe. With the effortless ease from years of practice, the avenger simple sidesteps the rash swing. Meanwhile, the remaining orc moves through the shadowy hands, pulls forth a handaxe, and also takes aim at the massive goliath. This time, the dwarven mail armor does its job and turns the blade. Finally, the downed Ogre rises to his feet, looks down upon the goliath, and tells him, "You die now, little one," in an archaic version of giant. Unfortunately for the fighter, he somewhat backs his words. With a careful and measured swing, the ogre lands a telling blow for 15 damage.

Standard: Your Delicious Weakness vs Blue ogre 1d20+12+2+1=33, 2d6+9+1d6=21 Hits REF 33 for 21 damage of whatever type the ogre is vulnerable to (if any). If it deals damage of a type the ogre is vulnerable to, the ogre takes 4 extra psychic damage

If any creature under Grim's curse becomes bloodied, using rod of corruption to spread the curse to all creatures within 5 squares instead of triggering boon.

OOC: No weaknesses Jon. My reading of your feat/rod combo is that the curse vanishes from a bloodied foe, and all monsters within 5 get cursed. Since Josh bloodied tow in succession, I've applied the remove:burst twice, which recursed the blue ogre. If you don't want to re-trigger the rod, let me know and you either keep your curse on black, or trigger your pact boon and lose the curse on black. I've found a discrepancy between the compendium and the manuals. As near as I can tell, there has only been one errata released for the savages, so I'm going with the MM defensive stats (only a slight difference anyway). Merry Christmas, Hulk.

Placing himself almost between two enemies, Hulk lets loose with a wild "one-two" from his maul. Dual sickening thuds followed by groans tell the results of his handywork. With a crazed laugh, Grim feels his powers grow as the bloodshed increases. OOC: Curse spreads to all enemies within 5 of the bloodied cursed creatures

As Hulk holds the left flank, however, a very solid ogre rushes in from the right and beans Etherra upside the head (17 damage) with a careful and measured swing.

Does this bonus help her enough that the attack misses?

Saphiro shifts down a bit to get some space. With a gesture of his right hand, palm outward and fingers splayed, the shardmind psion forces the ogre at the top of the room to slide back and to the left. Gripping his orb in his left hand, he pours his mind into the globe and a spectral image of a gigantic hammer forms inside. With a thought, the hammer in the orb is projected to the back of the room and slams into the ground between the ogre and the orc, knocking one of them down.

Move: shift one to K11, grants +1 AC/REF due to boots equipped
Free: Forceful Push green ogre so it's K3 corner ends at J2
Standard: 1d20+11+1=15, 1d20+11+1=24, 1d8+9=12 Force Hammer, augment 2, centered on i2 vs green ogre and purple orc

OOC: Shifting down one space, which grants +1 AC/REF. After sliding the ogre, force hammer hits green ogre 15 vs FORT and hits purple orc 24 vs FORT. Does 12 force damage and knocks prone on a hit. Sorry I can't do anything more controllery, but maybe Etherra can.

Etherra gives Sapphiro a surprised glance, fixes her hat from the blow she took from the ogre, eyes up the action, and quickly reacts.

"I guess ones of your kind don't mind pushing girls around. Well, I'm not that kinda girl to allow that! Bad Ogre! Backkkk!!"

Etherra's staff ignites with magical energy. As it quickly reaches a crescendo, she slams it on the ground before the ogre. The rumble from the ground forces it back, while the concussion causes it some harm. Her words & glare cause it to stagger back even further than it normally would.

[STANDARD] Thunderwave (at-will): Close blast 3 Target: Each creature in blast
Attack: Intelligence vs. Fortitude
Hit: 1d6 + Intelligence modifier thunder damage, and you push the target a number of squares equal to your Wisdom modifier (2).
Thunderweave (+1 24hr) / damage (-2 enlarged) (1d20+10+1=23, 1d6+8-2=10, 1d20+10+1=24, 1d6+8-2=8)
***Note:I applied a -2 to damage. Ignore that, as I did not enlarge the blast, as it would effect 2 allies. Use my 1st to-hit roll; a 23.
vs. Maroon Ogre Fort:23 / Dmg:12

[MINOR] Glowering Wrath (enc.power): Until the end of your next turn, you gain a +5 power bonus to Intimidate checks and increase the distance of any forced movement you cause by 2 squares.

[MINOR] Mystical Debris placed in J-6: One square in range becomes difficult terrain until the end of the encounter. You can end this effect as a minor action. (I plan on making more of this. I can have up to 4 at any 1 time).

OOC-Push maroon ogre from L-8 corner to H-4; a total of 4 squares. This also puts him into the grasping shadows that haven't quite ended yet, so he will be slowed and takes an add'l 4 dmg. Total damage on hit=16

All this, assuming it's a hit.

If this attack is successful, I am considering using an Action Point. Should I normally post the action, or await the results?
OOC-I can teleport all 3 ogres 3 squares away. That means the restrained ogre doesn't get to swing at the melee combatants, as it is restrained. What do u guys think?

OOC: Viktor, can you explain where you get 1d8+9 and not 1d8+7 on damage from, please?

Cross post with Etherra. It's midnight here, and I've got to get some work done tomorrow morning. I'll let people chime in on the proposed actions Etherra could take with an AP. I'll resolve when I can, sorry.


With a graceful slide, Saphiro moves away from his enemies. Then, he throws his right hand out, and an ogre is thrown back against the far wall. Finally, he summons an etherial hammer with the power on his mind, which slams the ground between two combatants. While the ogre maintains its footing, the orc falls, suffering a badly hurt shoulder.

Features of the Area
Yellow zone about J4: Grasping shadows. Shadows writhe in the designated area and continue until the end of Etherra's next turn. Any creature that enters the area of the grasping shadows takes psychic damage equal to her Intelligence modifier (4) and is slowed until the end of its next turn.
Illumination: The room is brightly lit by torches in wall sconces.
Ceiling: The ceiling in this area is 15 feet high.
Crevasse: This crack is too narrow to fall into. Anyone standing next to it can hear strange, otherworldly whispers emanating from somewhere below.
Door: A double door etched with a sun icon.
Floor: Many large skeletons are scattered about the floor.
